Makes the sum of 1s even
What does odd parity do to the number of 1s?
Makes the sum of 1s odd
What happens if the parity bit is incorrect?
The computer requests the sender to re-transmit the data
What is majority voting?
Each bit of data is transmitted multiple times and the most common occuring value is used.
