  releases melatonin which regulates the sleep/wake cycle
• Testes?


  Testosterone- male puberty and muscle growth
• Ovaries?

  Oestrogen- female puberty pregnancy and periods
• Thyroid Gland?


  releases thyroxine which regulates metabolism
• Adrenal Gland?


  adrenal cortex- produces cortisol and Adrenal medulla: adrenaline and noradrenaline.
