    • function muscular interventricular septum → partially sepparates the ventricles
    • The ventricles communicate through the  interventricular foramen
    • The outflow tract is divided by the formation of a pair of conotruncal swellings or ridges
    • The conotruncal swellings fuse to form the conotruncal septum that separates the future ascending aorta from the future pulmonary artery.
