Origin- Lumbar, lower half of thoracic vertebrae, illiac crest and sacrum
Insertion- Its tendon inserts on the humerus on the intertubercular groove under pectoralis major's tendon
Trapezius
Origin- Occipital bone ( nuchal line) and all of thoracic and cervical vertebrae
Insertion: scapular spine, acromion, and clavicle
Deltoid
Origin- scapular spine, acromion, and clavicle
Insertion- deltoid tuberosity
