    • Minority influence: where one person/small group of people influences the beliefs and behaviour of other people 
    • Synchronic consistency: they're all saying the same thing
    • Snowball effect: when the minority view gradually becomes the majority view and change has occurred
    • Diachronic consistency: they have all been saying the same thing for some time
    • Augmentation principle: when minorities risk themselves in an extreme acton to bring attention to their view
    • Minority influence:
      > conformity where majority is doing the influencing (majority influence)
      > minority influence leads to internalisation (public/private behaviour beliefs changed by the process)
      > Moscovici studied this process "blue slide, green slide"
      > study + other research have drawn attention to main processes in minority influence
