Cosmology
- the branch of philosophy dealing with the
origin
and
general structure
of the universe.
Four Gas Planets
-
Jupiter
,
Saturn
,
Uranus
, and
Neptune.
Four Terrestrial Planets
-
Mercury
,
Venus
,
Earth
and
Mars.
Terrestrial Planets
are primarily formed by accumulating solid materials such as
rocks
,
metals
and
dust.
As these materials come together, Gravity Pulls them into large bodies eventually forming compact terrestrial planets.
Gas Giants
form from the accumulation of vast amounts of
hydrogen
and
helium
, creating massive atmospheres.
Terrestrial Planets
are situated
closer
to the sun and lie within the
inner
regions.
The
Gas Planets
are situated
far
from the sun and are much
colder.
