    • extrinsic feedback is when it is given by someone other then the performer as they need it because they may not be as experienced
    • terminal feedback is given to the performer after their performance
    • concurrent feedback is given while the skill is taking place
    • positive feedback is given on a successful performance
    • negative feedback is given on an unsuccessful performance
    • knowledge of performance is when the athlete knows how it should be done
    • knowledge of result is when the athlete can judge if it was successful or not depending on the result of the skill
