Jesus constantly speaks of forgiveness - in parables, when asked questions about how his followers should behave and even when he was being put to death.
Jesus's teachings show that forgiveness is just as much as much about the relationship between the person forgiving and God as it is about the relationship between the person forgiving and the person being forgiven.
