  Data that can be categorised and ranked in ascending or descending order
• What is interval data?


  Real numbers with no true 0 that can be categorised and ranked, and evenly spaced. For example, temperature and dates.
• What is Ratio data?


  Real numbers with a true 0 (most numerical data is ratio data). For example, rainfall.
