  • Compliance
    Individual 'go along' with the group in public to gain their approval but secretly disagree and hold their views privately.
    Its a superficial change in behaviour.
  • Identification
    individual goes along with the group in as they value the griup but have different opinions privately. Usually in group settings.
    Its a partial change in behaviour.
  • Internalisation
    The individual accept the groups beliefs publicly and privatly as they genuinely agree with the groups view and accepts it as their own.
    Permeant change in behaviour.
