  RWA to mental health treatments. Neurochemical processes are associated with psychoactive drugs to treat disorders, such as depression with anti-depressants which increase serotonin at synapses. However, anti-depressants and other psychoactive drugs don't work for everyone. Ciprani compared 21 anti-depressants and found wide differences. This suggests that brain chemistry alone doesnt influence depression.

  The biological approach is unbiased and reliable as it uses technology and scanning techniques such as fMRI. These can be tested and provided objective data.

  Human behaviour is determined by uncontrolled genetic and internal cause, but phenotype is affected by environment. Even though identical twins are concordant and have 100% of the same genes, they are different. The biological approach doesn't explain criminal behaviour.
