Gonorrhoea

• Gonorrhoea is a sexual tansmitted disease (STD)
• Symptoms of Gonorrhoea include:

  • yellow/green discharge from the penis or vagina
  • It can also cause pain when urinating (peeing)
• Gonorrhoea can be easily treated using the antibiotic penicillin however Antibiotic resistant strains are becoming more common
• One way to stop the spread of gonorrhea  is by using a condom using sexual intercourse - stops bacteria from passing from person to person
• another way to stop the spread of gonorrhea is by having people who have unprotected sex to test for gonorrhea
