• Suicide is the intentional taking of one's own life.
• A suicide attempt in which a person does not intend to die is called parasuicide
• Unintentional Injury can be defined as " any injury that is not caused on purpose or with intention to harm"
• Intentional Injury are injuries resulting from violence.
• What are the two Self Inflicted injuries, Parasuicide and Suicide
• 3 classifications of assault are family, peers and other groups
• Three acts of Domestic Violence are Physical Assault, Sexual Abuse, and Verbal Abuse
• Bullying is an unwanted, aggressive behavior that repeated or an over time
• Four types of bullying are Verbal Bullying, Social Bullying, Physical Bullying, and Cyber Bullying
• Stalking is a pattern of behavior that makes you feel afraid, nervous, harassed or in danger
• Extortion is the act of using force or threats to force people to hand over their money or properties on favors
• Gang is mostly street-based group of young people who regard themselves & may be seen by others as a group that engages in a range of criminal activity and violence
• Kidnapping is taking away or forcefully moving a person against his/her will and holding him/her in just captivity
• Fraternity is a group of people with similar backgrounds, occupations, interests or taste
• Terrorism is use of violence for political goals and putting the public or a great number of people in fear
• Abduction is the use of force in order to take a person or a away from their home or relatives
• The six categories of terrorism are state terrorism, bioterrorism, cyberterrorism, ecoterrorism, nuclear terrorism, and narcoterrorism
• State terrorism state or governments can use force or the threat of force, without declaring war, to terrorize their citizens and achieve a political goals
• Bioterrorism is refers to the intentional release of toxic biological agents to harm and terrorize civilians, in the name of political or other cause. It includes viruses, bacteria and toxins that could be used in an attack
• Cyberterrorism is the use of information technology to attack civilians and draw attention to the terrorists cause
• Ecoterrorism the use of violence in the interests of environmentalism
• Nuclear terrorism nuclear attack on a city or a country is a serious threat to the security of the state
• Narcoterrorism the use of violence by drug traffickers to influence governments or prevent government's efforts in stopping the drug trade
• Verbal abuse is a form of cruelty that involves the use of words
• Incest is sexual contact between person who are so closely related that a marriage between them is considered illegal
• Molestation is the sexual abuse of a person by an adult for sexual pleasure or for profit
• Rape is forced sexual intercourse
• Self Inflicted is when a person harms himself/herself on purpose
• Assault is when a person/person's harm other on purpose
• Verbal Bullying saying or writing mean and nasty things
• Social Bullying referred to as relational bullying

  Hurting someone's reputation or relationships
• Physical Bullying hurting a person's body or destroying his/her possessions
• Cyber Bullying bullying done through use of technology and social media

• Male-to-female suicide fatality ratio of 3.3:1
• 2,147 others attempt suicide during academic year 2021-2022
• Risk Factors are characteristics or conditions that increase the chance of a person may try to take their life
• Protective Factors conditions or attributes in individuals, families, and communities that promote the health and well-being of a person
• 700,000 people die by suicide each year
