• Smallpox symptoms:

  SKIN SYMPTOMS:

  Discolored patches of skin, usually flat, that may be numb and look faded

  Growths (nodules) on the skin

  Thick, stiff or dry skin

   

  NERVES SYMPTOMS:

  Muscle weakness or paralysis (especially in the hands and feet)

  Enlarged nerves (especially those around the elbow and knee and in the sides of the neck)

  Eye problems that may lead to blindness (when facial nerves are affected)

• amebic meningoencephalitis symptoms:

  Patients may experience symptoms like:

  ●      stiff neck confusion, and

  ●      seizures

  To diagnose, cerebrospinal fluid analysis through a lumbar puncture is essential.
• African trypanosomiasis symptoms:

  Early Stages:

  ●      Fever

  ●      Skin lesions

  ●      Rash

  ●      Swelling of lymph nodes

  on the back of the neck.

  As the illness gets worse:

  ●      severe headache

  ●      personality change

  ●      weight loss

  ●      irritability

  ●      loss of concentration

  ●      progressive confusion

  ●      slurred speech

  ●      seizures

  ●      difficulty walking and talking

  ●      sleeping for long periods of the day

  ●      insomnia at night, and eventually death if left untreated
• creutzfeldt-jakob disease symptoms:

  ●      Personality changes.

  ●      Memory loss.

  ●      Impaired thinking.

  ●      Blurry vision or blindness.

  ●      Insomnia.

  ●      Problems with coordination.

  ●      Trouble speaking.

  ●      Trouble swallowing.
