High Uncertainty Avoidance 
Societies with high uncertainty avoidance strive to minimize uncertainty, ambiguity, and risk. Strong adherence to rules, formal procedures, and a resistance to change are prevalent.
Low Uncertainty Avoidance 
Societies with low uncertainty avoidance are more open to ambiguity, change, and risk-taking. There is a higher tolerance for uncertainty, and people are more adaptable to changing circumstances
