    • A pathogen is an organism that causes or can cause disease
    • What are some considerations when dealing with infection?

Causal factor, how the pathogen leaves, how the pathogen is transferred, how the pathogen enters a host
    • Bacteria
      Unicellular, prokaryotic, microscopic, reproduces asexually
    • Types of bacteria?
Mastitis, kennel cough, tuberculosis, salmonella, leptospirosis, tetanus, campylobacter, e.coli, streptococcus, staphylococcus
