• • Constructive - When the two waves come together, and their crests and troughs match up
  • Destructive - When two waves come together and the crest of one wave matches up with the trough of the second wave
• • Reflection - Occurs when a wave bounces from a surface back toward its source
  • Refraction - Occurs when a wave passes through different materials, resulting in a change in the speed of the wave
  • Diffraction - When a wave encounters irregular surfaces causing the waves to change direction and be scattered
