3 point gait = crutches forward first, then injured leg, then good leg
when walking backwards pts should walk in 2 point gait
2 point gait = good leg back first, then injured leg along with crutches

then make the H shape with crutches on affected side
then reach down with the good side

shouldn't be able to move the ferrules at all
need to make sure theres no wear in the holes
the poppers should be able to come out
the handle shouldnt be able to move around
the handle pivot should be firm
no damage or loose bolts by the elbow cuff

limb doesnt touch the ground, but still trying to normalise gait as much as possible
crutches and injured leg move forward (injured leg is not placed this time)
then good leg swings through being placed in front
need to flex the knee slightly and dorsiflex slightly of the injured leg
